Welcome to TaxMD™. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TaxMD™, Inc. ("TaxMD™," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of our tax preparation and management software platform.

By accessing or using TaxMD™'s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all users, including individuals, businesses, certified public accountants (CPAs), and accounting firms.

1. Product Strategy and Vision

• Manage and oversee the development and delivery of software products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Lead a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Develop and implement software architecture and design patterns, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Ensure the successful delivery of software products by managing the development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.

2. Technical Leadership

• Oversee and guide the backend and frontend development teams, ensuring timely delivery of features and overall system architecture.
• Define and implement technical best practices, including code quality, system performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with the AI team to design and implement advanced features, including automated tax calculations, predictive analytics, and scenario modeling.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to development timelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Taxation, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience managing software products and leading technical teams, preferably in financial or tax technology.
• Strong expertise in software architecture design and development lifecycle management.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in tax software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for building scalable and efficient systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on user-centric design.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in tax software is a plus.
• Experience with tax preparation software and tax compliance regulations is a plus.
• Experience with tax research and analysis is a plus.
